Latimer Controls is proud to share that we have been awarded a $100,000 Advanced Industries Early Stage Capital and Retention Grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). This program invests in high-potential Colorado-based startups to accelerate innovation in advanced industries. Securing this funding will enable us to expand the reach of our Flexible Solar Management System (FSMS) and continue our work toward stabilizing renewable energy on the grid. You can read more about our award and the program in the official announcement. Latimer Controls will use this grant to accelerate FSMS integration with a variety of plant control platforms, making it easier for utilities and developers to adopt our solution at scale. We also plan to use this funding to expand the application of our technology to additional PV asset classes, including distributed PV. Building on our existing partnership with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), we will demonstrate how flexible solar can meet growing demand without sacrificing stability or affordability. We look forward to advancing Colorado’s green energy economy through continued innovation, collaboration, and research-driven development, and we are grateful to the Colorado OEDIT for recognizing our company and providing the critical funding that will help us accelerate commercial adoption of our technology.
